Chairman's Office

The Chairman’s Office is responsible for policy coordination and supports the management of the FPS BOSA. Several specific functions report directly to the chairman.

The Chairman’s Office consists of 2 units. Their tasks are outlined below.

Strategy Coordination & Management Support Unit

This unit supports the chairman and management and is the cornerstone of policy preparation and development.

  • The unit is responsible for the "policy strategy/coordination" within the FPS BOSA 
    • It coordinates the presentation of the strategic plan and the annual operational plan and their follow-up 
    • It promotes the evolution of the Project Management Office network towards a common project management methodology
  • The unit supports management 
    • It advises the chairman on various matters 
    • the chairman’s secretariat prepares and follows up the meetings of the College of Chairmen and manages the chairman's agenda and correspondence 
    • it supports the management bodies of the FPS BOSA: steering committee, DG consultation, management team, client steering committee
    • it coordinates parliamentary questions
    • it aims to develop the internal control of the FPS BOSA and to propose a framework for risk management 
    • it is the contact point for audits by the Court of Auditors, the Federal Internal Audit and the Audit Committee of the Federal Administration 
    • it is the first point of contact for legal coordination

Specific Tasks Unit

This unit includes a few functions that report directly to the chairman:

  • coordination of complaints
  • internal service for prevention and protection at work
  • information security (security officer, DPO - data protection officer)
  • coordination of international networks.
