The Chairman’s Office consists of 2 units. Their tasks are outlined below.
Strategy Coordination & Management Support Unit
This unit supports the chairman and management and is the cornerstone of policy preparation and development.
- The unit is responsible for the "policy strategy/coordination" within the FPS BOSA
- It coordinates the presentation of the strategic plan and the annual operational plan and their follow-up
- It promotes the evolution of the Project Management Office network towards a common project management methodology
- The unit supports management
- It advises the chairman on various matters
- the chairman’s secretariat prepares and follows up the meetings of the College of Chairmen and manages the chairman's agenda and correspondence
- it supports the management bodies of the FPS BOSA: steering committee, DG consultation, management team, client steering committee
- it coordinates parliamentary questions
- it aims to develop the internal control of the FPS BOSA and to propose a framework for risk management
- it is the contact point for audits by the Court of Auditors, the Federal Internal Audit and the Audit Committee of the Federal Administration
- it is the first point of contact for legal coordination
Specific Tasks Unit
This unit includes a few functions that report directly to the chairman:
- coordination of complaints
- internal service for prevention and protection at work
- information security (security officer, DPO - data protection officer)
- coordination of international networks.
