On 28th and 29th May, the Directors-General responsible for the Civil Service of the 27 EU Member States will meet in Bruges. They will continue the work that the Public Administration Ministers achieved three months earlier with, among other things, the Ghent Declaration. They will also be able to draw on the excellent work done at the Working Level Meeting in La Hulpe in March this year. Sustainability and its impact on HR will be an important topic to be addressed in the DG meeting agenda.
They are meeting as part of the European Public Administration Network (EUPAN), an EU network of Directorates-General responsible for Public Administration in European Union member states, the European Commission (EC), and observer countries. The DG Meeting is the penultimate of six EUPAN events under the Belgian Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
