The European Public Administration Network – EUPAN is an informal network of the Directors General responsible for public administration in the Member States of the European Union, the European Commission, and observer countries. The network focuses on human resources management and organisational development, service innovation and delivery, but is also open to further areas of public administration, such as public administration reform implementation, open governance, etc. EUPAN has a well-established structure consisting of various levels of managers and experts in public administration that are delegated to the respective meetings. The Working Level meetings are composed of experts working in one of the main domains of EUPAN.
Through the Belgian presidency, the EUPAN meetings will primarily focus on the human resources challenges that the Public Administration is facing today and in the near future, against the backdrop of profound transformation within society and within the civil service itself. European collaboration is highly significant in addressing these challenges.
More specifically, the following themes will be explored during the Working Level meeting : Evidence Based policy making, wellbeing, employer branding, diversity and inclusion, ethics and integrity and the role of AI within the various aspects of HR. The participants will exchange knowledge and best practices, brainstorm through interactive discussions and establish areas of interest for deeper cooperation.
