EU fundamentals: the EU institutions, treaties and decision-making procedures

This is a brief introduction into the EU, its institutions and its decision-making tools.

This is a classroom-based session that will take place at BOSA, WTC III, Boulevard Simon Bolivar 30, Brussels.

Duration: half a day (9.30 – 12.30)

There will be sessions in September 2022 and in May / June 2023.

Voor wie?

This introduction session is aimed at everyone who has been designated by their organisation to play an active role in the preparation of the Belgian presidency (first semester of 2024) and wants to understand the EU fundamentals, or wants a brush-up of its knowledge. No specific prior knowledge of the EU is necessary.

This training helps you prepare for your role during the Belgian presidency of the Council of the EU in 2024 and is only for those who have been designated by their organisations to play an active role in this presidency.
